Head of Volunteering and Partnerships

We are seeking an experienced and inspirational leader to head up our central volunteering team. As Head of Volunteering, you will be responsible for delivering an impactful volunteering strategy that engages all stakeholders and embeds an integrated approach to volunteering.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive volunteering strategy that aligns with Dogs Trust's mission and goals.
- Lead and manage a team of Volunteering Business Partners to ensure the effective delivery of volunteering services across the organization.
- Establish and maintain national standards, processes, and policies to support volunteering across the entire volunteer journey.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of volunteering initiatives and make data-driven decisions to improve performance.
To be successful in this role, you will have extensive experience in leading a central volunteering team, with a strong understanding of best practice in volunteering, current trends, and relevant legislation. You will also have substantial senior management experience, including monitoring and evaluation, improving and sustaining performance through people and systems, and planning, implementing, and managing change across teams/functions.
