Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to lead our Finance Team. This role is pivotal in collaborating with various departments to provide financial insights and drive strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all financial operations within the organization.
  • Assess and mitigate financial risks while ensuring robust financial controls are in place.
  • Supervise the preparation of comprehensive financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Develop budgets and forecasts, analyzing business performance to inform decision-making.
  • Manage tax compliance and statutory reporting, ensuring adherence to tax regulations.
  • Act as the Senior Accounting Officer as stipulated by applicable finance legislation.
  • Oversee treasury functions, including cash flow management and banking operations.
  • Coordinate external audits and prepare statutory accounts.
  • Provide financial and tax advisory for new strategic initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the finance team to foster a high-performance culture.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Act as a deputy for the Chief Financial Officer.
  • Facilitate the Credit Committee's operations, focusing on credit extension and partner stability.
  • Participate in the pension monitoring committee for defined contributions.
  • Organize the ECOS Residual Value Committee.
Stakeholder Engagement

Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams at Porsche Cars GB, Porsche Retail Group, and Porsche AG, as well as external auditors and tax authorities.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background, ideally holding a degree in finance or accounting, and be a qualified accountant (FCA or equivalent). A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, particularly in a managerial capacity, is essential. Familiarity with SAP and BI software is advantageous.
