Fastmarkets is a leading price-reporting agency and information provider for global commodities, offering price data, news, analytics, and events for the agriculture, forest products, metals, and mining, and new-generation energy markets.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Revenue Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely revenue recognition in line with IFRS 15 principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Extract and analyze data from source systems, including Salesforce and Netsuite, to ensure accurate month-end reporting.
  • Prepare IFRS revenue waterfalls for all entities to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Conduct detailed order-level variance analysis of actuals to expectations and provide insights to senior management.
  • Lead the year-end audit of revenue and collaborate with external auditors to ensure a smooth process.
  • Identify and resolve system, Netsuite, and Salesforce data issues to ensure data integrity.
Requirements
  • Almost or newly qualified chartered accountant with a strong understanding of IFRS 15 revenue recognition principles.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including lookups, sumifs, index match, and if/or/and combinations.
  • Experience with large data sets and presenting summary information.
  • Netsuite or SAP experience is a plus.
