About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Healthcare Ireland Group. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their wellbeing and comfort.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist qualified staff with care plans, tasks, and activities to support the wellbeing, dignity, and treatment of residents.
  • Participate in activities, motivating and supporting residents to get involved.
  • Assist residents with eating, drinking, washing, dressing, and going to the toilet.
  • Assess and observe the emotional and physical wellbeing of residents, recognizing changes and reporting as necessary in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records, communicating effectively with residents and their families.
  • Provide care in a safe environment through participation in learning and development programmes.

Requirements:

  • A good standard of written and oral English.
  • The Right to Work in the UK.
  • Be NISCC registered or eligible to register.
  • Must be able to travel: driving licence and access to vehicle required.
  • Minimum of 6 months previous experience in health and social care.
