Job Title: Store Manager - Retail Operations
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team in Swindon. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, profitability, and delivering a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all monthly targets are met and exceeded.
- Develop and maintain a strong team environment, fostering a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Assist with recruiting, training, and developing the retail team to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
- Stay up-to-date with all current and future products, providing expert knowledge to the retail team and customers.
- Manage stock control, ordering, and delivery, ensuring accurate inventory levels and minimizing discrepancies.
- Conduct regular stock takes, adhering to strict guidelines to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist with scheduling and managing the team rota to ensure optimal coverage and productivity.
- Perform daily banking procedures and assist with cash handling as needed.
- Ensure customers receive exceptional service, resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
Requirements:
- Relevant retail experience, preferably in a management or supervisory role, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
- Fluent English language skills, both spoken and written.
