Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead our construction teams across North, Mid, and West Devon. As a key member of our team, you will oversee and deliver multiple projects up to £3m, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from conception to completion, including design, planning, and construction.
  • Develop and manage construction price plans, weekly programmes, and progress meetings.
  • Organize and chair regular meetings with internal teams and clients to ensure project success.
  • Ensure safe execution of work by deploying necessary resources and conducting regular site visits.
  • Review quotations from subcontractors and collaborate with the QS to ensure best value.
  • Manage on-site teams to ensure programme adherence and high-quality work.
  • Prepare construction programmes and phase plans, and produce progress reports for stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at project meetings and support site managers with H&S and RAMS.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualification in a relevant field or equivalent.
  • SMSTS certification.
  • CSCS certification.
  • First Aid at Work certification.
  • A valid driving license for frequent site visits.
