Job Role – Motor Vehicle Service Advisor
Salary – £23,500 basic with an OTE of around £27,500
Service Advisor Duties:
- Ensure customers are informed of service and repair work required for their vehicles in a professional manner.
- Advise on estimated costs of repairs and work to be undertaken.
- Sell additional products as needed to meet customers' requirements.
- Inform customers of timescales and collection arrangements.
- Produce job cards on the in-house computer system.
- Update customer and vehicle records.
- Document all warranty work in accordance with manufacturer policy.
- Prepare and complete invoices.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Service Advisor in a motor garage.
- Full driving license.
Key Skills:
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent customer rapport.
- Ability to deliver high CSI results.
- Confidence in up-selling opportunities.
