Your Responsibilities

As a Site Engineering Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading by example in health, safety, and environmental practices, ensuring adherence to company policies through method statements, risk assessments, and briefings.
  • Overseeing, guiding, and mentoring section, site, and assistant engineers to maintain high standards of engineering oversight and accurate record-keeping.
  • Fostering positive relationships with RE staff and the supply chain.
  • Encouraging a cost-effective mindset through the efficient utilization of company resources.
  • Assisting the project manager in managing the cost control system, developing schedules, and preparing quality frameworks.
  • Collaborating with commercial teams to ensure timely preparation of records for measurement and payment.
  • Promoting the adoption of BIM technologies to fulfill the project’s BIM Execution Plan (BEP) requirements.
  • Coordinating with the general foreman to ensure adequate preparation and availability of resources.
  • Supporting the project manager in the timely procurement of necessary materials, subcontractors, and equipment.
  • Regularly reviewing the performance, development, and training needs of subordinate staff, addressing any issues of underperformance or potential resignations.
  • Informing the project manager of any potential commercial or contractual risks.
Who Are We Looking For?

The following qualifications are essential:

  • Degree or HND in Engineering or a related field.
  • CSCS Level - Academically or Professionally Qualified Person/Supervisory/Manager.
  • SSSTS certification.
  • Proven experience and success at the Section Engineer level.
