Job Title: Highly Specialist Speech Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech Therapist to join our team in the Head and Neck Oncology department. The successful candidate will have a strong background in assessing and treating patients with complex communication and swallowing disorders associated with head and neck cancer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients with complex communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide specialist advice and guidance to colleagues and students
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols
Requirements:
  • Recognized Speech and Language Therapy degree or equivalent
  • Post-graduate dysphagia accreditation or equivalent
  • Relevant post-registration training in Head and Neck Oncology and ENT
  • Experience in assessing and treating patients with complex communication and swallowing disorders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
