Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Controller - Warranty Specialist to join our team at ECS Automotive | Setting the Standard. As a Material Controller - Warranty Specialist, you will be responsible for facilitating warranty services to our retailer network on behalf of Volkswagen Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect parts to ensure adherence to published policies
  • Conduct digital reviews of parts checks
  • Monitor and report claiming behaviors to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Engage with dealer network through various communication methods to resolve queries and problems
  • Support Authorized Repairers in adopting optimal behaviors when presenting Parts Checking Media and Warranty Claims
  • Accurately update records and databases
  • Utilize contact methods to support network stakeholders with client processes

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of policies and procedures linked to warranty and campaign repairs
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office and web-based products)
  • Ability to work without supervision, both as part of a team and independently
  • Automotive warranty specific experience at Dealer/Manufacturer level
  • Previous automotive mechanical repairer experience
