About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Developer to join our team at Crooton. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for leading the development of our software applications and ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of software applications, ensuring they meet the required standards and are delivered on time.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software development projects.
  • Develop and maintain software development processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and make recommendations for their adoption.

Requirements:

  • Expert programming skills in object-oriented languages such as Java and Python.
  • Strong knowledge of functional and behavioral automated testing techniques.
  • Experience of leading software development projects and teams.
  • Ability to design and develop software systems with medium levels of risk, impact, and business or technical complexity.
  • Good understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.
