About the Role:

In your role as a Regional Painter & Decorator at HC-One, you will be responsible for undertaking painting and decorating duties to present our care homes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake painting and decorating duties in all parts of the care home as required.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and homely environment to meet the needs of residents and colleagues.
  • Be responsive and flexible as the needs of the homes change.
  • Report any illness of an infectious nature or accident incurred by a resident, colleague, self, or another to the Home Manager or Person in Charge.
  • Understand and ensure the implementation of the care home's health and safety policy and emergency and fire procedures.
  • Undertake general painting and decorating tasks, including making good any damage prior to decoration, wallpapering, painting of walls, ceilings, and fixtures and fittings.
  • Ensure all equipment used is clean and well-maintained.
  • Complete mandatory and specialist training related to your role, on or off-site as and when required.
  • Recognize the signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect and know what to do if there are any concerns.
