Design Manager Opportunity
£40'000 - £60'000 Basic + Good Package + Bonuses
This is a unique opportunity to join a renowned manufacturer of automotive products as the technical lead for their design team. As Design Manager, you will be responsible for streamlining production processes and delivering on projects.
The company has a fantastic product range and has been successful for many years. With an ambitious new CEO in place, they are looking to expand their products into the Aerospace, Defence, and Marine industries.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a small technical team of 10-15
- Be involved in design through to manufacture and prototyping
- Streamline production processes
- Be the technical expert and run the shop floor
Your Requirements:
- Experienced mechanical engineer or design lead
- Background in machining or component manufacture
- Solidworks design capability
- Understanding of materials, including polymers and metals
- Experience in Automotive or Aerospace
- Ability to commute to Slough
