Position Overview
NES Fircroft is collaborating with a prominent global cabling organization to recruit a skilled Project Planner responsible for overseeing a significant construction initiative.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with internal planning standards, providing essential planning support to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Analyze project requirements alongside the project team, ensuring all critical work activities are identified in detail to facilitate realistic scheduling.
  • Monitor project advancement and regularly assess the program to ensure that all critical path activities and milestones are on track.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, management, and subcontractors to identify potential scope changes and assess their impacts promptly.
  • Integrate material resource needs with the project schedule and define procurement actions and lead times.
  • Maintain regular communication with the project team, updating schedules to ensure timely procurement activities and optimized lead times.
  • Report project progress and control challenges to the project management team, proposing effective solutions.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and distribute dashboards, progress reports, program updates, and productivity data as required by the project.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Proficient in Oracle Primavera P6 – Essential
  • Demonstrated understanding of construction contract requirements relevant to the planner role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to swiftly assess complex situations.
  • Proven ability to effectively organize work to manage multiple demands and competing priorities; adept at controlling issues and guiding them to resolution.
  • Committed to customer satisfaction, problem-solving, and teamwork.
  • Solid understanding of project scheduling and reporting.
