As an Advocacy Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing ongoing risk assessment, individual safety planning, advocacy, emotional, and practical support to high-risk victims of domestic violence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with victims of domestic violence to provide a high-quality, independent advocacy and support service.
  • Manage caseloads, assess referrals, and provide signposting to additional services and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with the legal framework relating to the protection of children and vulnerable adults.
  • Provide advocacy, emotional, and practical support and information to victims, including legal and civil options, housing, health, and finance.
Essential Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in supporting and advocating on behalf of Domestic Violence victims.
  • Ability to crisis manage and work well under pressure.
  • Strong organisation and diary management skills.
  • Enhanced DBS within the last 12 months.
