As a Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Providing effective management and supervision of a team of nursing and care staff
- Leading with passion and enthusiasm to ensure the service is well run
- Promoting positive outcomes for disabled people with a flexible and proactive approach
- Monitoring and providing the highest standards of nursing, clinical and personal support to our customers
- Ensuring the service is fully compliant regarding health and safety management, fulfilling statutory obligations and excellent overall service delivery
We are looking for someone with recent deputy manager experience of working in a care home, ideally with a background in nursing. You will have a strong understanding of the care home environment and be able to lead and manage a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and support.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse
- A level of professional development and registration (may include Level 5 Leadership in Health and Social Care qualification)
- Experience in managing a team of nursing and care staff
- Experience of providing direct personal and social care
- Experience in working with customers who have physical and/or learning disabilities
- Flexibility to work rostered hours
