Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Income Auditor to become an integral part of our esteemed Finance team at Pan Pacific London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the effective operation of the income audit function, guaranteeing accurate daily revenue recording and reporting.
  • Implement and uphold control procedures related to the income process, actively researching and resolving discrepancies.
  • Assist the Assistant Director of Finance in overseeing all financial activities, including financial controls, asset protection, accounting operations, financial report preparation, and annual budget management.
  • Collaborate with various hotel departments regarding income audit and reporting tasks.
  • Verify that allowances, paid outs, and miscellaneous postings comply with standard operating procedures.
  • Investigate discrepancies and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.
  • Prepare and analyze housekeeping discrepancy reports as necessary.
  • Review complimentary room reports, ensuring proper approvals are in place.
  • Confirm that all charges related to telephone, laundry, and health club services are accurately captured and reconciled.
  • Engage with the Operations team and outlets to address any posting-related inquiries or issues.
  • Balance city, guest, and deposit ledgers daily, ensuring accuracy.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of property management and point-of-sale systems.
  • Review and reconcile Micros and Opera systems to ensure accurate interfacing.
  • Conduct random spot checks across all outlets, investigating discrepancies and reporting findings to management.
  • Review all credit card refunds and related documentation for appropriateness and compliance with SOP.
  • Advise the Assistant Director of Finance on any operational or financial challenges.
