Working Hours

Standard working hours are Monday to Thursday from 08:30 to 17:00 and Friday from 08:30 to 16:00.

Their state-of-the-art facility is designed to manufacture intricate hardware, accommodating both new product introductions and medium-scale production of PCB assemblies and complete product assembly and testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary purchasing contact for various new product introduction and scheduled production initiatives.
  • Provide material status updates to departments and clients.
  • Source electronic components and materials in alignment with budget forecasts and delivery schedules.
  • Engage with suppliers to negotiate pricing and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Address supplier performance issues, including delays, quality challenges, and pricing discrepancies.
  • Operate within an MRP framework, managing tactical purchase orders with suppliers.
  • Handle engineering change notices and works order management.
  • Resolve technical inquiries directly with clients.
  • Prepare and approve material cost estimates during the quotation phase.

Candidate Profile

  • Comprehensive knowledge of electronic components.
  • Proficient in inventory management.
  • Experience with ERP systems and procurement software.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Exceptional communication skills, demonstrated in interactions with clients and suppliers.
  • Possess a full, clean UK Driving Licence and be located within a reasonable commuting distance.
