About the Role:This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to make a real difference in the lives of students with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). As an ADHD Support Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and additional support team to provide tailored support to students, helping them to stay focused and complete their work.
Key Responsibilities:- Support students with ADHD to complete their work and stay focused on tasks
- Help students identify and manage triggers that may impact their behavior
- Work closely with the class teacher to develop and implement individualized support plans
- Communicate effectively with the additional support team to ensure seamless support for students
- Complete observations and provide feedback to the class teacher
- Support students to achieve their targets and goals
- Experience working with students with ADHD
- Experience working in a secondary school setting
- Knowledge of ADHD triggers and support strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and understanding when working with students
