Job Description

At Grant Thornton, we're seeking a highly skilled Equity Reward specialist to lead our Northern Reward Advisory Services (RAS) practice. As an Associate Director, you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality employee incentives work and growing our North RAS practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with mid-market clients to provide technical reward advice in a commercial and practical context.
  • Deliver equity reward projects, including the implementation of share plans and specialist tax support on transactions.
  • Manage graduates and trainees, helping with their development and growth within the team.
  • Support Partners and Directors in targeting and developing new clients, as well as leading client engagements.
  • Take responsibility for managing client accounts and leading day-to-day client relationships.
Requirements
  • Tax experience within Equity Reward, with a professional qualification (CTA / ATT / ACA) or equivalent, or a qualified lawyer.
  • Technical expertise in designing and implementing employee incentive plans.
  • An excellent record of client service and the ability to manage time efficiently, working to tight deadlines.
  • A proactive approach to managing client projects, including responsibility for billing and fee management.
  • Experience of business development or a desire to develop the relevant skills.
