Electrical Maintenance Technician

We are currently recruiting for a large warehouse in Burton and are seeking a qualified electrical maintenance technician to assist with the general maintenance and service of the factory, ensuring the safety and general appearance of the buildings and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing a full planned preventative maintenance, breakdown, and repair function to all logistics warehousing facilities.
  • General buildings upkeep and fabric maintenance.
  • Assisting with first line maintenance of fixtures and fittings, examples: tightening screws on window hinges, maintenance on door handles, re-hanging doors and other minor building repairs.
  • Plumbing: un-blocking sinks, traps and waste pipes.
Requirements:
  • Apprentice trained; time served with a minimum Level 3 qualification.
  • Ability to prioritise and problem solve.
  • Health and safety awareness.
  • The ability to be self-motivated and flexible.
Working Hours:
  • Days 07:30 to 16:00 Monday to Friday.
  • 1 in 3 Weekend Cover (Saturday or Sunday) 07:30 – 16:00.
  • Mon – Fri (on call week 4pm-10pm).

Salary: £37,894
