Job Opportunity: Site Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Site Supervisor to join our client, a reputable Construction and Civil Engineering Contractor, on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of Highway and Bridge replacement improvement schemes in the South West region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Supervise and lead a team of construction professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and risk management.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and other project team members to ensure project objectives are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, environmental policies, and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Site Supervisor or similar role, with a track record of delivering complex construction projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Valid Gold or Black CSCS card.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and locations.
