Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the Company at Tribunal Hearings: Attend and represent Medico Partners Ltd at SEND Tribunal hearings, ensuring that the company's interests are represented and defended.
  • Manage Appeals: Assist with the management of appeals, including preparing responses and meeting judicial deadlines.
  • Coordinate with Stakeholders: Work closely with parents, carers, schools, and other stakeholders to ensure that appeals are managed efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Keep accurate records of spending on specialist fees and maintain up-to-date databases, including Synergy.
  • Provide Expertise: Provide expert advice and guidance on policy and legislation related to special educational needs and disabilities.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: A degree in Law or Education, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Relevant practical experience working with parents, carers, and schools, as well as experience in a customer-facing environment.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently, and accurate under deadlines with strong ICT skills.
