About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Student Data and Quality Specialist to join our team at the University of Strathclyde International Study Centre. Reporting to the Head of Student Experience, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate data management and reporting across various aspects of the centre's operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the timetabling team, liaising with academic staff to ensure smooth course scheduling and ad hoc cover arrangements.
- Generate comprehensive reports and datasets to support compliance, academic performance, and operational effectiveness at the ISC.
- Distribute essential student documents electronically, including progress reports, timetables, transcripts, and attendance records.
- Maintain accurate student profiles by inputting relevant data such as personal details, academic history, and reports.
- Stay abreast of academic year schedules, module offerings, and student core and optional modules.
- Provide administrative support to the Head of Student Experience, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data for various reports, such as the Annual Monitoring Report or other centre insights.
- Assist with quality assurance duties, including updating Centre Handbooks and Programme Documentation.
About You
The ideal candidate will possess:
- An undergraduate qualification or relevant professional certification, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and development.
- Proven experience in data management, analysis, and reporting, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software applications.
