We are in search of a Senior Manager who will be integral to our Public Sector Audit Quality team, with potential responsibilities in managing audits. Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Senior Manager, you will:

  • Address complex technical issues and provide support to auditors in challenging situations.
  • Develop and disseminate guidance for teams while delivering relevant training.
  • Serve as a primary contact for quality-related matters across regions.
  • Assist in responding to consultations and emerging audit issues.

Qualifications

To join us as a Senior Manager, you will need a professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA, or CIPFA) along with relevant post-qualification experience. Confidence in managing a substantial portfolio of public sector audit clients is essential. While specific skills are beneficial, we are committed to helping you develop in areas such as:

  • Managing audits for public sector entities and addressing complex technical matters.
  • Proficiency in the CIPFA Code and Department of Health Group Accounting Manual.
  • Project management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with IFRS and audit software.
