Job Summary

The Highland Council is seeking a skilled Early Years Practitioner to join our team. As an effective member of our team, you will deliver a high-quality early learning and child care service that meets the needs of young children and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a flexible and responsive service to children and families.
  • Develop and implement engaging learning programs that promote children's cognitive, social, and emotional development.

Requirements

  • Hold a recognized qualification in Childcare and Education (e.g., HNC/NNEB/SVQ 3) or be willing to work towards one.
  • Be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) or agree to register as a practitioner.
  • Have experience working with young children and families in an early childhood education and care setting.
  • possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to work effectively in a team environment.
