About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Physical Health Psychology Service. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide assessment and treatment for individuals experiencing chronic pain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals with chronic pain, including psychological, social, and physical factors.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to address the psychological and social aspects of chronic pain.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide a biopsychosocial approach to chronic pain management.
  • Provide training and supervision to junior staff members.
Person Specification
  • Post-graduate doctoral level training in applied Psychology.
  • HCPC registration as an Applied Psychologist with Chartered Status.
  • Experience of working in a physical health setting, preferably in pain management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
