Key Responsibilities
- Delivering a superior pharmacy service, adhering to current regulations, clinical standards, and recognized professional ethics.
- Providing expert guidance and support to medical staff and patients, ensuring the safe, appropriate, and economical use of pharmaceuticals.
- Advising on the effective management of medications across the hospital and its departments, while maintaining compliance with relevant laws and professional guidelines.
- Fostering a patient-centered, collaborative approach to delivering an efficient and high-quality healthcare service.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Must hold a valid GPHC registration without any restrictions.
- A minimum of 4 years of post-graduate experience in a hospital setting at ward level is essential.
- Proven ability to analyze clinical and managerial challenges and propose practical solutions.
- Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to challenge clinical practices and promote evidence-based methodologies.
- Share best practices with colleagues to elevate service quality and standards.
- Experience in partnership with medical professionals to develop innovative service solutions.
- Demonstrated clinical leadership skills and experience in mentoring peers.
Desirable Qualifications
- Clinical diploma is preferred.
- Supervisory or management qualifications are advantageous.
- Experience in collaborating with medical teams and across clinical departments.
- Previous supervisory experience is beneficial.
- Familiarity with the independent healthcare sector is a plus.
- Support for local business development initiatives.
- Effective stock and budget management skills.
- Experience within an independent sector hospital pharmacy department is advantageous.
