Facilities Maintenance Technician

We are currently seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Technician to support our operations. This role involves ensuring the smooth functioning of our facilities through various maintenance tasks and responsibilities.

Location: Corsham, Wiltshire

Salary: Up to £24,375

Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm

Responsibilities:
  • Perform general maintenance tasks including repairs, basic decoration, electrical changes, and plumbing.
  • Conduct routine maintenance of equipment following a planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule.
  • Maintain cleanliness in storage areas and main pathways, utilizing a ride-on sweeper.
  • Manage the collection and processing of cardboard and plastic waste for recycling.
  • Assemble and dismantle office furniture and racking storage systems.
  • Collaborate with team members on various ad-hoc projects and tasks.
  • Assist specialist contractors as required.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety standards consistently within designated areas.
  • Ensure accurate and safe movement and storage of stock, timely order fulfillment, and achievement of operational targets.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Physically fit and capable of performing demanding tasks.
  • Proactive with a positive attitude.
  • Strong team player with a quick learning ability.
  • Effective in responding to unforeseen incidents.
  • Driving License is essential due to the rural location and occasional site visits.

This position is physically demanding and requires a dedicated individual to maintain high standards of facility operations.
