Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering instruction and support to all participants in the program, in line with established standards for both group and individual lessons
  • Managing class dynamics effectively while keeping precise records
  • Assisting in the smooth operation of the facility as directed by the Aquatic Program Manager
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant codes of conduct, health and safety regulations, data protection laws, child safeguarding policies, operational procedures, and emergency protocols

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a Swimming Teachers Association (STA) Level 2 Award or Certificate, or an Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) Swimming Teacher Level 2 qualification
  • A cooperative team player with strong communication abilities
  • Dedicated to personal development and growth
  • Previous teaching experience is advantageous but not essential
