About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team at Epic Games. As a key member of our Finance and Accounting department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our financial data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Closing and Reporting: Assist with the month-end and year-end financial closing activities for our UK and Canadian subsidiaries, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial statements.
  • General Ledger Accounting: Record journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and maintain the integrity of our General Ledger accounts.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Accounting, and Operations, to ensure seamless financial operations and effective communication of financial information to stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with the team to identify areas for process enhancements, including system and process improvements, and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as needed.
  • Fixed Asset Accounting: Manage fixed asset accounting and administration, including depreciation, asset tracking, and lease calculations.
  • Intercompany Reconciliations: Perform intercompany reconciliations and mismatch corrections, and serve as the primary point of contact for accounting and transactional queries from the business.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: 3-5 years of recent and relevant work experience in finance, accounting, or business administration, with a relevant degree and/or professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of General Ledger accounting processes and procedures, with experience working in different ERP systems (Workday preferred). Proficiency in MS Excel is also required.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to summarize key accounting and operational issues to management.
