Job Summary:

We are partnering with a regional Social Housing provider to recruit a Senior Building Surveyor to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position with a salary band of £48,700 - £54,000. The successful candidate will be responsible for directly line managing a team of Condition Surveyors, focusing on a £1bn 30-year investment plan for carbon reduction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Completing surveys in line with Decent Homes Standards and HHSRS standards
  • Ensuring energy efficiency data is collected in line with PAS 2035
  • Take responsibility for the collection of property data, with a focus on energy data, to inform future energy reduction plans
  • Ensuring a programme of surveys is delivered on time and within allotted budgets
  • Acting as a technical point of contact for the wider asset team
  • Evaluate surveys to ensure quality targets are being met
  • Liaising with tenants to provide technical guidance and advice
  • Identifying trends to get ahead of any issues that may arise in properties
  • Carrying out 121s with surveyors

Requirements:

  • Experience required in Social Housing
  • Experience working with customers within housing
  • Experience in retrofit/decarbonisation projects
  • RICS/CIOB or equivalent
