Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Sodexo. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including minor decorating, moves, and porterage
- Diagnose and repair faults in building fabric, M&E building services, and fabric equipment
- Carry out like-for-like replacements and minor new works as directed
- Respond to emergency call-outs and provide engineering expertise 'out of hours'
- Manage a variety of reactive tasks and planned activities to meet service level agreement deadlines
- Appropriate experience in a technical maintenance environment, demonstrating a systematic approach to problem-solving
- Practical skills, including a working knowledge of engineering compliance and best practices
- Experience in independently working in a technical maintenance environment, adhering to health and safety standards
- IT literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems
- Ability to self-manage and plan workload effectively to meet deadlines
- Familiarity with Helpdesk procedures and workflow requirements, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
