A Wilderness Way is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Registered Service Manager to lead our pioneering Multi-Building Registration under the new Ofsted Policy Guidance. This rare opportunity will enable you to forge a new path in the children's residential sector and contribute to the development of a high-intensity assessment-based care model.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will effectively manage a Multi-Building Registration, leading the leadership, management, and operation of the service.
- Responsible for setting the operational direction and organizing the effective running of the service to meet its statement of purpose.
- Mentor and support residential support workers to achieve their full potential.
- Work in partnership with external agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.
Requirements
- At least 12 months of experience managing a Residential Children's Home.
- Extensive experience managing a team of support workers.
- In-depth knowledge of the SCCIF and Children's Home Regulations and Quality standards.
- Ideal candidate will have achieved a Level 5 Leadership and Management Diploma.
- Ability to collaborate with and support the team to create an exceptional service.
- A full, valid, UK driving licence and access to your own transport.
