Job Title: Mental Health Nurse

Merco Medical Staffing Limited is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team. As a key member of our hospital's inpatient service, you will play a vital role in providing rehabilitation, recovery, and bespoke care to adults and older males with severe mental health conditions or neurocognitive/dementia challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop strategies to promote recovery and independence.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting empowerment and self-management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and policies.
Requirements:
  • Active NMC registration and 12 months post-qualifying experience as a Registered Nurse (RMN).
  • Relevant clinical experience in mental health care, with a focus on rehabilitation and recovery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including days, nights, and weekends, to meet the needs of the service.
