Job Summary:

Cobalt Recruitment is seeking a skilled Development Surveyor to join our client's fast-paced development team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for sourcing new sites, conducting due diligence, and managing projects from financial feasibility through to completion and letting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and Acquisition: Identify and secure strategic land and commercial development opportunities, conducting thorough due diligence to ensure viability.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with consultants and manage aspects of existing schemes, ensuring timely completion and meeting financial targets.
  • Financial Analysis: Assist in marketing, appraisals, and financial feasibility studies to inform development decisions.
  • Development Support: Support development appraisals from land acquisition to project completion, working closely with the planning team to promote sites through the planning process.

Candidate Profile:

  • Commercial Acquisitions: Proven experience in commercial site acquisitions and development appraisals, with a strong understanding of the UK market.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent use of Argus valuation software and other relevant tools.
  • Team Player: A positive, can-do attitude with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
