Senior Power Platform Developer / Software Engineer

As a key member of the digital engineering function at RSSB, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development of Power Platform solutions for a range of applications. Your primary focus will be on creating innovative and efficient solutions that drive business value and improve customer satisfaction.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying Power Platform solutions that meet the evolving needs of the business. Your expertise in Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, and Dataverse will enable you to deliver high-quality solutions that drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new features, enhancements, and defect corrections across Power Platform solutions.
  • Take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of technical work items as part of wider project delivery.
  • Maintain a user-centred approach and rapid iteration cycle to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
  • Provide expert input to the shaping, sizing & planning of technical delivery work, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities to simplify and deliver new value from digital products.
  • Provision and maintain environments, deployment processes, and testing processes to enable fast and reliable changes to enterprise Power Platform components.
Requirements
  • Proven experience developing solutions with Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, controls, and governance.
  • Experience engineering digital solutions against functional requirements.
  • Familiarity with user experience design approaches and activities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to adapt and respond effectively to new opportunities, change, and uncertainty.
