Job Title: Surface Mount Operator

Job Summary:

Adecco is seeking a skilled Surface Mount Operator to join our team in Waterlooville. As a Surface Mount Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining SMT equipment, ensuring adherence to strict health and safety guidelines.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain SMT Pick & Place machines.
  • Use screen-printing machines for efficient operations.
  • Programme and set up P&P machines for optimal performance.
  • Programme and maintain reflow ovens.
  • Perform PCB assembly, including SMT and PTH soldering.
  • Carry out cable assembly using crimp tools.
  • Engage in electromechanical assembly.
  • Work from customer BOM's and drawings to ensure manufacturing meets required standards.
  • Conduct PCBA rework as needed.

Requirements:

  • Essential ability to operate Pick & Place machines.
  • Off-line programming experience with P&P machines (Juki etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent component recognition and knowledge.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday
