We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Worker to join our team at Southern Housing. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our residents and service users.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality care and support to residents and service users, as identified in their person-centred care plan.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote independence, rights, choices, and inclusion in the community.
- Summon professional assistance in emergency situations.
- Practice within the criteria set out in the Care Quality Commission standards, ensuring residents have up-to-date care plans and risk assessments.
- Hold 5 GCSE passes at grade C or above (or equivalent Grade 9-5) including Maths and English.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Health and safety awareness.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Understanding of the requirements of CQC.
- Willingness to learn new skills.
