About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Peregrine. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for procuring goods, works, and services to support our Energy Nuclear Operations fleet of Nuclear Power Stations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and ensure supply chain risks are understood and managed.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within procurement and administrative functions and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure procurement activities adhere to relevant laws and regulations and monitor and enforce compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working within a procurement and/or similar environment.
  • High standard of Procurement competence in key areas of sourcing, process knowledge, contracting skills, and supplier management.
  • Good negotiation skills that drive positive business outcomes and ability to influence at all levels.
  • Good project management skills, product awareness, commercial acumen, financial awareness, risk, and opportunity management.
