Job Summary:
The Senior Client Manager plays a key role in coordinating carrier relationships on behalf of the company, leading the service team on large accounts as assigned. This includes coordinating key services and developing the initial placement/renewal strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs all Account Manager responsibilities, including establishing and maintaining carrier relationships.
- Assists in marketing activities for large accounts, prepares risk maps, and coordinates service delivery.
- Completes special projects and looks for opportunities to improve the firm, business segment, and processes.
- Serves as a mentor to new colleagues when requested.
Requirements:
- Possesses strong technical knowledge of general insurance market conditions and specific insurance carrier underwriting appetites.
- Can analyze complex risk exposures, existing insurance coverages, and develop recommendations for clients and prospects.
- Exhibits excellent client service and problem-solving skills.
- Possesses intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn insurance company and firm software programs.
Education & Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and either has, or is working towards, a professional insurance designation.
- Must possess at least five years' experience and demonstrated proficiency in Account Management.
- License(s): Maintains all licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance to provide service, consultation, and financial risk transfer solutions in states where the firm functions or be willing and able to obtain all required licenses within the first 90 days of employment.

- Fast-paced multi-tasking environment
- Some travel may be required.
