Conflicts Resolution Group

The Conflicts Resolution Group (CRG) plays a critical role in evaluating the firm's business activities to identify, assess, and manage actual or perceived conflicts of interest. This includes reviewing advisory, financing, principal investing, lending, and other activities to ensure compliance with firm policies and procedures.

As a member of the CRG, you will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing and initiating new checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of information
  • Conducting due diligence on business opportunities by considering the firm's current and historical assignments, positions, and economic exposures
  • Identifying potential issues and reporting findings to the CRG
  • Monitoring and updating the status of previously cleared opportunities using information from public sources, deal teams, and internal reporting tools
  • Documenting the elements of review for each conflict check in the CRG's proprietary database

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-3 years of work experience in the financial or legal sectors, preferably in Investment Banking or Corporate Finance
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency
  • Ability to process and analyze high volumes of information
  • Commercial savviness with ability to exercise discretion with respect to highly confidential situations / sensitive information; prudent risk management orientation
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact directly with a wide group of professionals at different levels of seniority across the firm
  • Ability to work in close coordination with others as part of a global team
  • Proactive and self-motivated mindset
