A prestigious family office is seeking a permanent Chief Financial Officer to oversee financial operations across its diverse portfolio.

About the Organization

This role is situated within the headquarters of a family office catering to ultra-high-net-worth individuals. The organization’s investment portfolio encompasses direct stakes in various sectors, and this position will engage in the financial management of each entity. Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Principal, the Chief Financial Officer will serve as a strategic advisor to the group’s businesses, including managing directors of investment firms.

The responsibilities are extensive and would be ideal for a seasoned, chartered accountant with a background in investments and experience in business leadership. The key duties include:

  1. Comprehensive oversight of all financial operations and enhancements
  2. Advisory support to leaders of investment enterprises
  3. Management and coordination with external service providers
  4. Provision of investment reporting and analytical insights
  5. Supervision of intricate transactions on a global scale
  6. Complete ownership of the audit liaison process
  7. Direct reporting to the ultra-high-net-worth individual, assisting in strategic decision-making
Qualifications for Success

The ideal candidate will possess a strong accounting background with experience in preparing and managing group financial statements and performance evaluations for the investment portfolio. This role is particularly suited for a highly educated professional aspiring to take on a leading role within a small private enterprise. Experience in regulated, investment, or small business environments is preferred.
