Freelance Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a freelance basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of civil engineering projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the financial aspects of civil engineering projects, including budgeting, cost control, and cash flow forecasting.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and provide guidance to project teams.
- Prepare and submit reports, including project status updates, financial reports, and other relevant documentation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the civil engineering industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial management, cost control, and contract administration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
