Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Pharmacovigilance Scientist to join our team at Cyprotex. As a key member of our laboratory-based team, you will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality performance of HT ADME-Tox assays, both commercial and R&D focused. In addition, you will utilize your excellent communication, organisational and technical skills to support the training and development of staff, improving the team's knowledge and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To plan and conduct both routine and ADME-Tox assays (both manually and using liquid-handling robots).
  • To be a senior point of contact for the team and study managers for operational and scientific support across all routine assays, including problem solving, data analysis and data interpretation.
  • To keep up to date with relevant scientific advances and regulatory guidelines in the field of ADME.
  • To ensure all laboratory equipment and work areas are clean and in proper working order on completion of assigned tasks.
  • To ensure accurate and complete documentation of all activities as required by relevant SOPs and Quality policies.

People Management:

  • To coach, mentor and line manage other members of the team by effective use of Evotalks meetings, regular 1to1 discussions and ad hoc interactions.
  • To ensure work is performed to an exceptionally high standard, within specified time frames, ensuring safety regulations and QC procedures are strictly adhered to.
  • To participate in all training required to perform effectively in job role.
  • To ensure that your personal training record is up to date and that any gaps are discussed with your supervisor.

Benefits:

  • Pension on completion (but not subject to) of your 3-month probationary period. Contributions 5% for employees (salary sacrifice) and 5% for the employer.
