ESG Advisory Director Opportunity

We are seeking an ambitious ESG Advisory expert to join our team at The Green Recruitment Company. As the ESG Director of assurance & advisory, you will lead a growing team of experts at an exciting time of investment and business opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stay up-to-date with changes to sustainability/ESG regulations and reporting requirements, serving as a subject matter expert across the firm.
  • Originate and develop a pipeline of prospects, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Ensure the team's practices and service offerings are compliant with assurance standards, maintaining the highest level of quality.
  • Partner with board-level executives on complex ESG issues, negotiating and influencing where required.
  • Utilize your understanding of ESG and market insights to identify opportunities for client coverage and growth.
  • Maintain the quality of engagements, focusing on improvement and feedback.
  • Motivate and encourage the team, providing timely constructive feedback.
  • Lead the ESG assurance team through an exciting period of growth and expansion.

Requirements:

  • Experience leading non-audit assurance teams specializing in ESG.
  • Experience designing and implementing non-audit assurance work programs.
  • Comfortable delivering ESG advisory projects, including double materiality assessments, gap analysis, and maturity assessments.
  • High level of familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks and standards, including ISSB and CSRD.
  • Ideal candidate is ACA qualified.
