About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Mental Health and Justice team as a Practice Supervisor. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and award-winning team, making a real difference to children and young people's lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver case supervision and hold a caseload of more complex cases
  • Carry out quality assurance activities and measure outcomes to develop innovative, sustainable methods of intervention
  • Support Essex YJS to develop its early prevention offer, including supporting Out of Court Disposals (OOCDs)
  • Work collaboratively with children's mental health services, Youth Justice Service (YJS), children's social care, and other agencies
Requirements
  • Accredited degree or diploma level, professional qualification in social work
  • Substantial continuing professional development and expert knowledge in relevant professional area
  • Experience of building strong partnerships and delivering bespoke training and consultancy
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of vulnerability and safeguarding protocols
