Company Overview:
LER (SG) Ltd, a prominent player in the furniture manufacturing sector, is seeking a dedicated Safety and Compliance Supervisor to enhance our team.

Role Responsibilities:
As a Safety and Compliance Supervisor, your primary duties will include:
  • Revising and enhancing the organization's Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) and Fire Safety Policies.
  • Overseeing a team of two Health and Safety Advisors.
  • Conducting thorough investigations into workplace incidents.
  • Ensuring proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Delivering Health, Safety, and Environmental training and orientation sessions.
  • Contributing to the organization’s sustainability initiatives.
  • Facilitating fire safety training and conducting Fire Alarm testing.
  • Managing building facilities and coordinating with contractors for maintenance tasks.

Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess a background in the manufacturing industry, specifically in a Health and Safety role. Additionally, you should have:
  • A NEBOSH General Certificate, NCRQ, NVQ, or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Membership with the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
  • Preferably, a qualification or experience in Fire Safety and/or Fire Resistance Testing.
  • Some experience in Facilities Management is advantageous but not mandatory.
