Shire Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist to join our team of professionals working in residential care settings. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality therapeutic services to looked-after children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and formulate individualized treatment plans for young people
- Deliver evidence-based interventions, including individual and group therapy, to address the complex needs of service users
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective therapeutic approach
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of best practices
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and treatment plans
Requirements:
- Post-qualification experience working with children and young people, preferably in residential care settings
- Strong knowledge of child and adolescent psychotherapy principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
