Commissioning Editor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Editor to join our team at a globally renowned publishing company. As a Commissioning Editor, you will be responsible for acquiring and developing books aimed at professional, MBA, and Executive Education audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commission and develop books for the business market
  • Build and maintain relationships with authors, stakeholders, and internal teams
  • Manage contracts, negotiations, and content development
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive business growth

Requirements:

  • Strong editorial experience in the business publishing market
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and digital skills
  • Knowledge of XML workflow systems and eBook development
